At Fireflies Nursery we believe that it is very important to work in strong partnership with parents. After all, it is parents who know their child best. Regarding this we always keep an open communication with parents. We always listen to suggestions about how we can enhance our practice even more.
We like to keep parents informed on the progress of their child so that even when they leave their child at nursery they never feel out of touch. One of the ways in which this is done is through the nursery's investment into the EyLog system. This is an interactive system which enables the staff to capture moments in real time, may that be images, audio or videos. Please be ensured that the system is perfectly safe and secure and will only be used with the consent of parents. Information about the child will only be released to the specific parents of the child in question. EyLog also enables staff to share observations about the child and create progress trackers -ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.

The nursery closes for one week of Christmas every year, as well as closing on all public bank holidays.
