Our son just started nursery and he was a bit clingy to us at the beginning so we were worried we could not leave him. But with the help of the staff he settled in after 4 weeks very well. We have since a change in him the following 4 weeks that is positive. His routine is much better with eating and going to bed. Also at nursery you teach him to put coats on and off and to find them, same with the shoes. Now when he wants to go in the garden he goes in his shoe rack and finds the pair of shoes he wants and asks us to help him putting them on.
We notice also that he shows more of an interest in colouring and playing with other toys. Also, we noticed that because there is no TV in the nursery he is less interested in TV and this is very good.

He is a bit a fussy eater especially with vegetables, but he has started eating his meals, so this is very positive.

The staff are very caring, it really looks like it is a 1 to 1 teaching as the staff are very hands one from what we see when we drop or pick up the children. The staff are very friendly and give very good and precise feedback, this is what parents like to hear.

Also I must say I chose this nursery for the wide rooms and the easy outdoor access and for its cleanliness. It helps that it is a new building, but it is great that the floors can be swept and mopped which is not in all nurseries and this can keep away from all bugs.

Our son has been to another nursery but because it was older and with plenty of carpets, I believe the germs stay inside for longer. He has been there for 2 month and he has not been ill yet, so I believe this is down to the cleanness and not having carpets. Well done for choosing vinyl flooring.

My son has only been at the nursery for 3 weeks but during this time i have felt so re-assured by all staff. My son has settled in so well and the staff have been so caring and enthusiastic at all times and my son has felt so welcome. He has been very happy over the past 3 weeks and has warmed to all staff because of the affection they have shown. The space, facilities, light garden are all lovely.

I love the fact that my son is not forced to partake/go out in the garden to do activities and that he has the freedom to choose his activity. He didn't wish to go out to the garden all day and the staff will stay inside with him.

Fantastic Nursery. Fantastic Staff. I'm so happy to leave my son at Fireflies Nursery every morning as I know he is always happy and having fun there. There's times when he hasn't wanted to leave.

I don't have to worry when he's at the nursery "Is he OK" etc as I'm confident that he is.

When I found out a new nursey was opening and to all ages I was very excited. I went to the open day and I was shocked because I loved how much space each room had. I was also amazed what different types of learning equipment they had. The staff were very helpful and made my child welcome, I was happy knowing my child is happy.
I put my sons name down straight away.

When the nursery opened I was happy but scared because my son, from birth has never staying away from me, and I knew he wouldn't stay on his own and would take me at least a month to get him used to it, but no! I was so surprised and amazed by the staff and support I was given my son got used to the nursery, and nursery staff within a week. I was so amazed how good the staff were with my child and how quick they got my child adapted to the nursery.
My child is very happy and has learned a lot.

I would like to say the staff, receptionist and the manager at Fireflies are very helpful they are very flexible with times. I love everything about fireflies and will recommend everyone to join Fireflies.
